What do you mean it doesn't exist?

Using cutting-edge 3D design and rendering tools we're able to bring photorealistic versions of software products to life, as well as visualising the physically impossible, to tell stories beyond literal reality.



Lunacy Audio

Lunacy Audio in California commissioned a 3D rendered brand video from us to showcase their ground-breaking sample-based software instrument, CUBE, and its ecosystem.

We were able to expand on the concept of sound design in three dimensions, and wrap the audio in brand-communicating visual cues, while creating gear lust for a product which doesn't even exist in physical form. Pretty cool.



Oddiction

3D character design and animation are the heart of this fully CG product trailer.

From storyboard to end product, this promotional piece drew on the experimental, expressionist quality of the product – a gritty, clangy synthesizer preset collection by the German sound designer Oddiction.

Emotional narrative is everything, even in so short a format. In just 30 seconds we see our hero literally resolving themselves, beginning a journey, hesitating, and reaching a goal.



Kilohearts

We created renders of over 40 products for Kilohearts, an audio plugin company from Sweden, to refresh and update their materials, and modernise the brand.

Our largest project has been a complex animated commercial for Phase Plant, the flagship synthesizer in the range. Apart from the complex model of the product itself, with hundreds of animated controls; lights, knobs, buttons, sliders, screens, and so on; we worked with complex atmospheric effects like smoke, dust, and floating lights in this video.



Excite Audio

We worked with UK-based audio software brand, Excite Audio, on the launch of a new product called Motion: Harmonic. With an innovative graphical user interface, and a striking visual design, this product lent itself beautifully to a stylish treatment in 3D.

We worked very closely with the product team to ensure our renders were faithful to the design of the product itself, as it will appear on users’ screens, while still capturing the dynamism and depth that 3D animation can offer. For a product that’s all about movement, an energetic video reveal was essential.
